Deformed reinforcing bar is generally quoted on a per tonne rate. Rebar varies in price based on diameter, shape, length and quantity. Ordering deformed reinforcing steel bars per tonne (1000kg) or larger volumes can give you a lower rate compared to ordering individual pieces.
